First CEEB Training Workshops Completed!
The operation and functionalities of the Central Register of Building Emissions (CEEB) were the focus of workshops organized under the project “Support for the Energy Transition of Municipalities in the Malopolska Region”. The project is financed by the European Funds for Malopolska 2021–2027 programme.
CEEB is a key tool supporting actions to improve air quality. Its main purpose is to collect data on heating sources and fuel combustion in buildings, enabling local governments to effectively plan and implement pro-environmental measures. Therefore, it is essential that system users possess the appropriate knowledge and skills to enter data accurately and efficiently.
The December workshops were attended by employees of local government units, municipal police officers, and representatives of other institutions responsible for entering and verifying data in the Central Register of Building Emissions. The sessions were conducted in groups of up to 30 participants, which encouraged active participation and work on practical examples. The workshops had a strongly practical character.
During the workshops, participants became familiar with the principles of the CEEB system, practiced data verification, and learned about tools that can streamline their daily work. The programme included, among others, topics related to the operation of individual CEEB modules, the role and permissions of the Local System Administrator, and a detailed presentation of the analytical and reporting module, which plays an important role in working with the system. The meetings also covered issues related to air protection in the Malopolska Region, including current and upcoming legal regulations directly affecting municipal responsibilities.

The aim of the workshops is to develop participants’ practical skills in correctly entering and verifying data in CEEB, as well as to improve the use of system functionalities, which may ultimately contribute to better data quality and more effective planning of pro-environmental actions.
Further workshops are scheduled for January and February, allowing additional groups of CEEB users to participate in the training.
Recordings of the training sessions prepared by the Chief Office of Building Supervision (GUNB) are available at the indicated links and serve as a supplement to the knowledge gained during the workshops.
