The Olympiad aims to raise the knowledge and responsibility of the younger generation regarding the state and protection of the environment. This year’s edition of the Olympiad brought together nearly 18,000 students from across Poland, with approximately 170 participants in the final. The event was funded by the LIFE EKOMAŁOPOLSKA and LIFE Małopolska in a Healthy Atmosphere projects, as well as partially by the Ministry of National Education.

- From June 9 to 12, members of the Air Protection Group, coordinated by the Ministry of Climate and Environment, participated in a study visit to Madrid. The trip was organized under the project “Partnership: Environment for Development” and aimed to exchange knowledge and best practices in air protection with Spanish institutions, as well as to develop participants’ competencies in implementing EU regulations. The experience exchange between Poland and Spain represents a valuable element in the development of a common European policy for clean air, climate change mitigation, and the protection of citizens’ health.
