XXVII International Trade Fair ENEX 2025
The 22nd edition of ENEX, the International Trade Fair for Energy, Electronics and Renewable Energy Sources, was held on 18-19 February 2025 at the Kielce exhibition centre. As every year, the event brought together experts, engineers and enthusiasts of green technologies.
The ENEX trade fair has for years been a meeting place for RES market leaders, manufacturers and distributors of modern technology. The event showcased the latest solutions in photovoltaics, heat pumps, energy storage systems and electric vehicle charging stations.
National Heat Pump Forum 2025
On the first day of the event, the RES City zone hosted the National Heat Pump Forum 2025, which was attended by representatives of the LIFE Project ‘Małopolska in a healthy atmosphere’. This forum brought together experts, engineers and investors, creating a space for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of modern heating technologies.
ENERGETIC TALK SHOW – discussion of key challenges
One of the key highlights of the programme was the ENERGY TALK SHOW, in which experts discussed market challenges, the importance of dynamic tariffs for heat pumps and the selection of energy storage for heat pump homes. The discussion also focused on how to manage surplus energy, the problems of incorrectly sizing installations and the integration of heat pumps with photovoltaic systems and energy storage.
The issue of the complex structure of energy bills was also raised. Experts highlighted the need for a consistent billing system that would allow individual customers to better plan their household budget and anticipate energy costs. It was pointed out that currently electricity bills are not very transparent and often uncorrelated with actual energy consumption, leaving many prosumers not fully aware of exactly what they are paying for. The importance of simplifying and standardising invoices to make them more understandable for end customers was highlighted.
Speakers highlighted key aspects related to the efficiency of hybrid installations and the impact of energy management on grid stabilisation. The need to modernise the energy infrastructure was identified.
Installer of the Year 2025 tournament and visitor attractions
There was no shortage of competitions and tournaments during the fair. The Renewable City Zone hosted the Installer of the Year 2025 Tournament, in which the best photovoltaic installers competed in the precise installation of panels. There was also a city game for visitors and numerous competitions with prizes.
The 22nd edition of ENEX 2025 once again proved that Kielce is a key venue for exchanging experience and promoting innovative solutions in the field of renewable energy sources. High attendance, a wide range of exhibitors and an extensive programme of events made this year’s fair one of the most important meetings of the RES industry.
