European Mobility Week 2025 – Join In!
Traditionally, the next edition of European Mobility Week will take place from 16 to 22 September under the slogan “Mobility for Everyone!”. This year’s edition focuses on accessible, affordable, safe, and sustainable transport for all, regardless of income, location, gender, or ability.
Unfortunately, many people still face barriers, such as high costs or a lack of transport options, which limit their access to work, education, and essential services. This phenomenon is known as transport poverty.
Well-designed mobility systems benefit everyone. Thoughtfully planned services, vehicles, infrastructure, and communication help all users, especially those with physical, sensory, or cognitive limitations.
Why Get Involved?
European Mobility Week is not just a campaign – it’s an opportunity to collectively envision the future of our cities and towns. Fewer cars mean:
- cleaner air,
- safer streets,
- more pedestrian- and cyclist-friendly spaces,
- better quality of life for residents.
Each of us can contribute to change by choosing to walk, cycle, use public transport, or carpool. Small everyday choices add up to make a big difference!
Event Highlight
Traditionally, the celebrations culminate with European Car-Free Day, which takes place on 22 September.
