About the energy market and effective cost management!

The functioning of the energy market and practical ways of optimising expenditure related to energy procurement will be the main topics of a meeting of representatives of municipalities in the Malopolska Region. Participants will learn about the principles governing the electricity, gas, and heat markets, as well as the mechanisms that influence the formation of prices for these utilities.

The workshop programme will also include topics related to the analysis of energy invoices, the selection of appropriate tariffs, and the potential for implementing local energy storage systems. The knowledge gained is intended to enable local governments to plan more effectively measures that improve energy efficiency and contribute to reducing operating costs.

Participants will be able to consult individual cases, discuss emerging issues directly with an expert, and obtain guidance on interpreting invoices and energy billing settlements.

When?

The event will take place on 17 June 2026 (Wednesday) from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Polish Aviation Museum.
