RES workshops for Eco-managers

oze1

On 14 December, at the Home Army Museum (Wita Stwosza 12, Kraków), the last workshops in the scope of preparation of the Terms of Reference (ToR) for renewable energy installations (heat pumps, solar collectors, photovoltaic panels), took place.

Support for renewable energy sources from the Regional Operational Programme for the Małopolska Region 2014–2020 (ROP MR 2014-2020)

Earlier workshops were directed to the leaders of projects selected to receive funding from the Regional Operational Programme for the Małopolska Region 2014–2020.

Under sub-measure 4.1.1 – Development of infrastructure for the production of energy from renewable sources – will be co-financed projects related to the construction, expansion and reconstruction of infrastructure.

These activities are aimed at increasing the production of electricity and/or heat from RES (photovoltaic panels, solar collectors, heat pumps, biomass boilers).

At the end of the project, more than 40,000 renewable energy installations, will be built:

  • 20,769 installations (with a total capacity of 60.77 MWt) generating heat from RES
  • 19,913 installations (with a total capacity of 42.52 MWe) producing electricity from RES

Summary of a series of workshops devoted to renewable energy installations

26 October 2018 – Introduction to the preparation of the ToR for RES installations – workshops for project leaders selected to receive funding from the ROP MR 2014–2020

9 November 2018 – Workshops on the preparation of the ToR for central heating systems for buildings (heat pumps) and for hot water utility systems (heats pumps and solar collectors)

16 November 2018 – Workshops on the preparation of the ToR for energy generation systems (photovoltaic panels) and central heating systems for buildings (biomass boilers)

30 November 2018 – Summary of workshops – discussion panel with experts from the renewable energy industry

14 December 2018 Workshops for Eco-managers in the scope of preparation of the ToR for renewable energy installations (heat pumps, solar collectors, photovoltaic panels).

During 5 meetings were discussed:

  • technical specification of RES installations (photovoltaic panels, solar collectors, heat pumps and biomass boilers)
  • Terms of Reference (ToR) for renewable energy installations
  • good and bad practices in renewable energy Projects

Over 100 people took part in the meetings, including:

  • Project Leaders selected for co-financing from the ROP MR 2014–2020,
  • employees of municipalities,
  • Eco-managers,
  • representatives of scientific units and enterprises associated with the renewable energy industry.

The workshop was conducted by specialists from the Center of Sustainable Development and Energy Conservation “Miękinia”, the Polish Organisation of Heat Pump Technology Development (PORT PC) and the Polish Photovoltaic Industry Association.

All workshops were carried out as part of the LIFE integrated project “Implementation of the air quality plan for the Małopolska Region – Małopolska in a healthy atmosphere”, aimed at improving air quality in the region (action E.3 – “Creating a network for exchanging experiences with other projects”).
