Workshops for municipalities – Clean Air Program and dust sensors

On 25 September 2018 at the Polish Aviation Museum in Krakow (Jana Pawła II Avenue 39) workshops for eco-managers and representatives of other interested municipalities will take place as part of the implementation of the integrated LIFE project “Implementation of the air quality program for the Malopolska Region – Malopolska in a healthy atmosphere” .

During the workshops, two main issues will be presented. Energy advisers from WFOŚiGW in Krakow will present the objectives of the Clean Air program, under which residents can apply for the co-financing of investments in the replacement of the heating source and thermal modernization of their buildings. In the second part of the meeting, Eng. Jakub Bartyzel, PhD from the AGH University of Technology will present the results of the project of the comparative research of low-cost dust sensors conducted in cooperation of the Marshal’s Office of the Malopolska Region and GIOŚ, AGH, KAS, the Rabka-Zdrój municipality and the Dobczyce municipality. It will also provide tips on the use of the devices.

11:00 am – 1:00 pm  – Assumptions of the Clean Air Priority Program – Energy advisers of WFOŚiGW in Krakow.

1:00 pm – 1:30 pm – Lunch break.

1:30 pm – 3:00 pm – Low-cost air quality sensors – Eng. Jakub Bartyzel, PhD from the AGH University of Technology in Krakow.

The number of places is limited. In the case of municipalities that are not partners of the LIFE Malopolska project, prior notification via the form below and waiting for the confirmation of participation are required.
