Presentation of LIFE project experiences for National Fund advisers

Representatives of the Marshal’s Office of the Malopolska Region and the municipalities of Tuchów and Skawina shared their experiences on the implementation of the LIFE integrated project. At the meeting on 6 February at the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management they presented the project activities to the representatives of the Ministry of Enterprise and Technology, energy advisers from the National Fund and Regional Funds.

The purpose of the meeting was to present the principles of the STOP SMOG Program addressed to people affected by energy poverty. Participants of the meeting discussed the possibilities of supporting municipal activities in the preparation and implementation of projects from the STOP SMOG Program.

Activities undertaken as part of the LIFE project were presented by Wiktor Chrzanowski, Deputy Mayor of Tuchów and Tomasz Ożóg, Deputy Mayor of Skawina. They also pointed to the possibilities of supporting municipal activities by energy advisers from the Regional Fund.

The LIFE-IP MALOPOLSKA project provides direct assistance in preparing applications for the STOP SMOG Program. The Tuchów municipality is preparing the model Municipal Low-Emission Plan as part of the LIFE project. It will be developed in cooperation with other municipalities. Ecomanagers are also involved in helping people affected by energy poverty.
