Open consultation meeting of the draft Air Quality Plan
The consultation meeting was held as part of the extension of work on the new Air Quality Plan for the Małopolskie Voivodship and the renewed public consultation. The document was supplemented with conclusions and comments made during the previous opinion of the residents, non-governmental organisations, local governments, enterprises and institutions. Open consultation meeting
An open consultation meeting was held on 16 July 2020 in the Congress Hall of the Congress Centre of the University of Agriculture in Krakow. It was attended by 85 people. They were mainly residents, local governments, institutions, entrepreneurs, chambers of agriculture and economy, non-governmental organisations and representatives of universities.
The meeting was opened by Tomasz Urynowicz, Deputy Marshal of the Małopolska Region and Piotr Łyczko, Deputy Director of the Environment Department.
This document and, above all, air protection measures, are our priority. I hope that with your activity and ideas we will be able to implement the best possible programme for Małopolska. I know that we need the support of the inhabitants and courageous local authorities. Therefore, together we can achieve an improvement in air quality. Today’s meeting after a long period of break due to coronavirus is an opportunity for us to talk calmly. I hope that with your support we will be able to introduce bold changes in Małopolska

Then a representative of Atmoterm company gave the participants an introduction to the subject of the meeting and presented corrective actions of the draft Air Quality Plan for the Małopolska Region.
In the next part of the meeting, 31 participants spoke and publicly shared their comments and conclusions to the project.

In addition, a link to the online transmission has been made available for those who were unable to attend the event personally. The event was attended by 32 people via the Internet. For those of you who could not attend the meeting, please find the recording below.

You can also submit your comments in writing and verbally to the protocol during office hours. Letters should be sent to the address: Marshal’s Office of the Małopolska Region, Environment Department, Racławicka 56, 30-017 Kraków, with the note “Konsultacje Programu Ochrony Powietrza” (“Consultations of the Air Quality Plan”).
