On 26 October at the Department of European Funds at the Marshal Office in Krakow, the first meeting opening a series of workshops devoted to co-financing projects in the field of the use of renewable energy sources (RES) took place. The workshop is intended for Leaders of projects selected to receive funding under the Regional Operational Program for the Małopolska Region for 2014-2020 – Measure 4.1. Increasing of the use of renewable energy sources, Sub-measure 4.1.1 – Development of infrastructure for the production of energy from renewable sources.

During the first meeting, workshops were carried out to prepare the terms of reference for hot water systems (heat pumps and solar panels), central heating systems for buildings (heat pumps and biomass boilers) and systems for electricity (photovoltaic panels).

The meeting was led by specialists from the Center for Sustainable Development and Energy Conservation “Miękinia”, Polish Heat Pump Development and Technology Organization (PORT PC) and the Photovoltaic Industry Association.

The next meeting will take place on 9 November at the AK Museum in Krakow. It will be devoted to the installation of heat pumps and solar panels.

The workshop was organized as part of the implementation of the LIFE integrated project “Implementation of the air quality plan for the Małopolska Region – Małopolska in a healthy atmosphere”.
